I survived, with minor injuries. If you call getting slammed in the chest with the airbag as something minor.

It hurts to move abruptly. Hiccupping feels like a volcano is erupting in my chest. And my rib cage aches when I laugh. And I laughing is my medicine.

But I’m walking, talking and yesterday I pushed a carpet cleaner around the living room. Grunts and groans accompanied me…
